Day 8

So today once again I took my daily photo with my 105mm macro lens. Its seriously the funnest lens. I would recommend it to everyone. This is a photo of a water droplet on a CD. I dimmed the lights and it gave me this dramatic effect.

As always Comments and Critiques are greatly appreciated.

Day 3

Today before work I decided to stop at University of California, Riverside Botanic Gardens. It was a great place to try out my new 105mm macro lens. I took lots of photos and plan on going back soon, when I have more time. Unfortunately I don't know the names of these flowers but I found myself returning to this location quite a bit to get one last photo. I really like how this one came out.

Day 4

I had the day off work today so I decided to go up the hill to Running Springs. Another perfect opportunity to play with my new 105mm macro lens. There's a couple that lives there and for the past 40 years they have been planting and growing daffodils. Every year they open daffodil hill for three weeks. usually the last week of March and the first two weeks of April. It's really a great place to go even if your even remotely in the area. The garden closes this year on April 6th. Also they posted a sign stating that next year will be the last year they open the garden up to the public. So nows your chance.

Day 11

So I hung out with Rhydon again today so heres another photo of him. He carried this bear around with him all day. He reminds me of Michael from the Disney movie Peter Pan.

Day 5

I didn't have a whole lot of time to take pictures today sense I worked all day but my macro lens makes it really easy and fun to find a subject and take pictures around the house. Heres a pic of an old baseball and glove that have been collecting a little dust.

Day 2

Today is Easter so what a better photo to add to the gallery than one of the family. It was hard to pick which one to post. This is a photo of my cousins 11 month old. His name is Rollen and he's one of the fastest crawlers I know and he has the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. His favorite movie is cars so if you know anyone interested in a play date he's available.

You can see more of photos of Rollen and his brother rhydon here:
